Hail and door dings
Paintless Dent Repair in McLendon-Chisholm for Hail and Everyday Dings
North Texas hail doesn't skip the open stretches along FM 1139. When it finds your car, we count every dent so the claim reflects the real damage.
Ask whether your dent qualifies: (000) 000-0000Original Paint Is Worth Protecting
Paintless dent repair reshapes metal from behind using specialized rods and light, leaving the factory finish untouched. It works well on door dings, soft dents and most hail damage, as long as the paint hasn't cracked and the metal isn't sharply creased. Because nothing is sanded or repainted, the car keeps its original coating, and nothing matches it better. Hail claims bring their own challenge: one panel can carry dozens of small dents, and a rushed count leaves damage off the estimate. We map each panel, record dent counts and sizes, and share that map with your insurer. Storms that roll across Rockwall County tend to hit roofs, hoods and trunk lids hardest, so those are where we look closest.
Where Paintless Repair Earns Its Keep
Paintless work is precise, and it starts with an honest read of whether it fits your dent.
Suitability check under good light
Broken paint, a sharp fold or stretched metal can rule paintless out. We check for all three and tell you plainly.
Hail map for every panel
Each panel gets a dent count and size breakdown, the format insurers use to evaluate storm claims.
Roof rails and hard-to-reach areas
Roofs have braces and headliners in the way. We remove what's needed carefully and note the access work on the estimate.
Rod work guided by reflection
A lined board reflected in the panel shows the shape of the dent, and we push from behind in many small passes.
Glue pulls where braces block access
Where a rod can't reach, glue tabs set on the surface let us lift the low spot outward while the finish stays intact.
High spots tapped down
Raised edges around a dent are leveled with light taps so the surface reflects evenly when we're done.
Trim, lamps and liners reinstalled
Anything removed for access goes back with new clips where the old ones were spent.
Supplements when the count grows
Hail damage sometimes shows more clearly once panels are cleaned and lit. Additional dents are documented and sent in for approval.
What Happens During a Paintless Visit
- 1
Read the damage
We clean the panels and look at them under a reflection board to find every dent. For hail, we build a panel-by-panel count and share it with your insurer. If paintless won't work on a particular panel, we explain why and what the alternative is. You see the map before we start.
- 2
Work from behind
Access is gained through existing openings or by removing trim and liners. Dents are worked out gradually, checking the reflection after each pass. If new damage comes to light, it is photographed and reported to the insurer as additional damage before we touch it.
- 3
Reassemble and compare
Trim and liners go back on, and we review every panel under the light again. Then we look at the car outdoors with you. Any spot that doesn't read clean gets another pass.
Why We Ask About Paintless First
Factory paint is hard to beat
No refinish matches the original coating as well as the original itself. Keeping it also helps the car hold its value.
Storm damage counted with care
A thorough count is the difference between an estimate that reflects the damage and one that misses half the hood. We take the time to count it right.
Straight answers about limits
When a dent has gone past what rods can fix, we tell you and route it to conventional repair rather than leaving a half-finished result.
